Welcome to New Orleans, Louisiana, circa 1980—a city alive with music, flavour, and mystery. Neon lights shimmer in rain-soaked puddles along Bourbon Street, where the modern world collides with ancient, unsettling traditions. Here, murder is never straightforward. The Beaumont Agency, a team of brilliant, colourful, yet deeply flawed private investigators, takes on the cases no one else dares to touch.

In The Dark Quarter, a co-operative, app-driven adventure game set in a dark and fantastical vision of 1980s New Orleans, players take on the roles of Beaumont agents, working together to solve the city’s most chilling crimes. This is a world steeped in magic, where hexes are sold on every street, voodoo priestesses and night-stalking creatures lurk in the shadows, and even the most ordinary crimes carry a touch of the supernatural.

Through multi-scenario campaigns, the game weaves a rich, dynamic narrative, inviting players to make critical decisions that shape not only their characters but also the course of the story itself. These characters are more than mere avatars, interchangeable between scenarios—they are deeply embedded in the fabric of the tale. Their fates, and the fate of New Orleans, are bound together in ways that cannot be undone.
